About Tradeline Truth
Why free, and why faceless
Tradeline Truth exists because the most useful information about authorized users was buried under people trying to sell them.
The problem we kept running into
Search for "authorized user" and most of what you find is written by someone with a tradeline to sell. The pitch is always the same: pay a stranger a few hundred dollars, get added to their card, watch your score jump. The parts that matter — whether the issuer reports it, which scoring models count it, how a lender reads it, what happens when you're removed — get skipped or buried.
Meanwhile the free version of this strategy, being added by someone you already trust, gets almost no attention because nobody earns a commission on it.
Why it's free
The core of this strategy should not cost anything. You don't need to buy a tradeline to understand one, and you shouldn't have to pay to find out whether it will help you. So the videos, the guides and the tracker are free, and they will stay free.
We do intend to earn money eventually, and we'll be open about how:
- Affiliate links to tools we'd point you to anyway, always labelled and listed on our disclosure page.
- A paid guide, the Authorized User Credit Accelerator Guide, for people who want everything in one place. It will never contain anything the free material hides on purpose.
What we will never do is sell tradelines, take a cut from someone who does, or tell you a result is guaranteed.
Educational only. Not financial advice. We don't sell tradelines.
Why it's faceless
You won't see a host on this channel, and that's deliberate.
The evidence should carry the argument. In a space full of rented cars and screenshots of scores, a face mostly asks you to trust a person. We'd rather you trust a citation you can check yourself.
There's no personality to sell. No lifestyle, no "I went from 520 to 800" story. Your file is not our file, and a personal anecdote isn't evidence of what will happen to you.
It keeps the focus on the document. Credit is paperwork. Our videos look like paperwork being read carefully: the report, the regulation, the issuer's terms, with the one line that matters highlighted.
How we work
- We explain the mechanism first, then the caveats.
- We cite primary sources: regulators, the statutes, the scoring companies and the bureaus.
- We say out loud what issuers and scoring models don't do.
- We correct mistakes publicly and date the correction.
